Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What is a business loan through NewLogic?
A. A commercial loan with fixed payment amounts, a maturity date, etc.
However a business loan serviced by NewLogic is much more flexible than
a traditional business loan because you have the power to determine
your daily payment amount, so you can manage cash flow on your
terms.
If you're approved, the money is then electronically transferred into your
business account.
Weekday payments are sent automatically from your business bank
account.
A business loan serviced by NewLogic takes the best aspects of business loans
and make them better. Plus, we serve hundreds of types of industries. We
make it easier to qualify for a business loan than others out there.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What is a merchant cash advance?
A. A Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) is the purchase of future credit and
debit card sales at a discount. The purchase price the MCA
provider pays in exchange for these card receivables is a lump sum of
cash delivered to the business for its use as working capital.
A common and popular way for the MCA provider to collect its purchased
receivables is through “batch splitting” and/or closely related variations
through Automated Clearing House (“ACH”) transactions. In
batch splitting, the merchant directs its processor to forward an agreed
upon, set percentage of the merchant’s daily net (post-chargebacks,
reserves, and other processor related charges) settlement proceeds
from card sales (or “batch”) to the MCA provider’s account and to
forward the remainder of the net settlement amount to the merchant’s
account. In the ACH variation, debits in amounts equal to the agreed
upon percentage of applicable card sales are instituted by the processor
from the merchant’s bank account (i.e demand deposit account) through
ACH transactions.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How much can my business get?
A. Based on cash flow and the profile of the business, we
determine what financial options meet the needs of that
business.
Q. How long does the approval process take?
A. We make our initial risk determination in minutes. Within 4 to 6
hours our prequalification process is complete. Financial
options are provided your business within that time frame.

Q. Will you review the owner’s credit history?
A. Yes. As with any Business Loan or Merchant Cash Advance, the
guarantor’s credit history will be reviewed as part of the borrower’s
qualifications process. However unlike traditional loans, an owner’s
damaged credit history isn’t an automatic disqualifier for the
business.
Q. Does the business owner need to pledge personal collateral?
A. The business owner doesn’t need to pledge personal collateral for
either of our financial solutions. However with the Business Loan
product, the business will be expected to pledge its business assets
as collateral.
