ABU DHABI EMPLOYMENT VISA
Is a process of legally obtaining government
approval for an expat to work under the
sponsorship of a company by obtaining the
Labor Card and Residence Visa from the
Ministry of Labor and Immigration
Department respectively. Without such, an
expat cannot lawfully work for any company in
the UAE.

Department.

Required Documents
Passport copy with stamp page of the applicant (valid up to six months)
Profession and salary details (Offer Letter).
Attested Degree certificate copy. (Required for specific designation)
8 Passport size photo in a white back ground
Trade license copy of the company
Immigration card copy of the company
Labor Card Copy of the company
Tenancy contract copy of the company
Location map of the company
Degree certificate must be translated in Arabic in case of language other than Arabic & Englis

Once done, labor payment should be administered through online
E-dirham’s payment in our office
Online payment, next is immigration payment
It takes a while for the labor payment to be updated in
Immigration Department, as soon as it is updated only then we
can pay the immigration fees of whether inside or outside
application
As soon as the immigration fees have been made, our PRO will
take the visa from Immigration. With the Pink Visa the employee
can come to ABU DHABI.
If the employee is inside the country, we need to update his
immigration file and do a visa position amendment.
Medical can be done in one day on normal or VIP basis
Normal Medical Report will come out after 3 working days. For VIP
it will come on the next business day.
We need to take the print out of the labor contract which has to
be signed by the employee and the authorized signatory of your
company.
The Residence Visa can be stamped on the passport after getting
the medical report and completing the visa position amendment.

Best Practices
The original E-signature card of the sponsor is required when
we type the Employment Visa Application. The work is
dependent on the availability of the authorized signatory of the
company. We will be asking for his signature when we do the
Labor contract and Residence Visa stamping.
