What is Brightspace?
• Learning Resource Management system - LRM
• Single place teachers, students and families can go to find out
about BSD curriculum
• Why now?
• We needed to move from Global Scholar to a new platform and
Brightspace was the best choice.
• Who can access?
• Only BSD teachers and students.
• Parents need to access the site using their child’s username and password
How to access the site
• Go to www.BSD405.org and look at the top of any page to see quick
links to the popular sites.
• The username is the student's network login of s- and
the student's last name and first initial.
• For example, Jane Doe would use: s-doej
John Doe would use: s-doejo
• If you do not know your Username- Contact your
office manager or classroom teacher.
• At the Secondary level, the password is whatever the student has
chosen to be their password.
• At the Elementary Level, the password is s# and the student's ID. For
