Who should have an account?
• NR/XR employees should have an Employee
account at minimum to access their position
• Department Contacts; cost center clerks,
admin assistants, and admin support for
recruitments
• Approvers; such as supervisors, directors,
faculty chairs, and deans (depending upon
departmental structure)
Define Users
• Department Contact
– Person responsible for attaching additional
documents, updating applicant statuses, and
updating posting statuses.
– Usually the PPA/CCC
• Supervisor
– Direct supervisor for the position (not a lead)
– Faculty department chair (adjuncts)
– Dean (faculty)
Define Users
• Approver 1, 2, 3
– Additional approvers beyond the Supervisor
– Directors/Deans
– Do NOT relist the Supervisor on this page
• Final Candidate(s) and Alternate(s) Approver
– Last person beyond supervisor who must approve
the candidate(s)/alternate(s) before submitting to
HR.
