built a large, beautiful ship. It has

is missing: it has no compass and
does not know where to go.

THE WORLD NEEDS INDIAN WISDOM
“It is already becoming clear
that a chapter which had a
Western beginning will have to
have an Indian ending if it is not
to end in the self-destruction of the
human race. At this supremely
dangerous moment in history,
the only way of salvation for mankind
is the Indian way.”
Sir Arnold Toynbee
“I am convinced that India could
become once again the cradle of a
new school of thought that may
significantly influence the fate of
the globe during the third
millennium.
Perhaps
the
contribution of India to nuclear
power technology and space
science will turn out to be
irrelevant, but the contributions
toward a new ethical foundation
could be turning the wheel of
history in the proper (balanced)
way."
