Maria Schomaker has been a meeting professional
for 20+ years, including stints as a planner and
supplier. She has been Freeman’s onsite liaison at
Maritz Travel Company since 2010, playing a
major role managing combined projects. Maria is
currently an adjunct faculty at St. Louis Community
College, and a Certified Meeting Professional,
having earned her designation in 2001.
Maria also leads an internal CMP prep course at
Freeman for those interested in becoming certified
and enjoys guiding industry professionals of all
levels to earn this esteemed certification.
