Interesting Places
A region isn’t complete without interesting places. That’s why I’ll show you the
interesting places in the Appalachians! In New Brunswick, there’s a park called Odell Park. It’s a
national park that has lots of forest, fresh lawns, barbeques, duck ponds, and picnics. There’s
another place called the Cape Breton Highlands. It’s the highest point in Nova Scotia! You can
take a hike on the Cabot trail or you can go camping on the Cabot trail in the Cape Breton
Highlands! There is great scenery in the Cape Breton Highlands too! It’s very beautiful here!
Another interesting place is the Hopewell rocks in Moncton, New Brunswick. The Hopewell rocks
are huge rocks that can be seen in low tide and high tide. In low tide, you can walk on the sandy
beach and see the whole rocks and in high tide you can see the rocks from a kayak or a boat! The
confederation is a bridge that connects New Brunswick with P.E.I., because P.E.I. is an island, you
have to get there somehow! So that’s why they built this huge bridge, to get to P.E.I.. The Gros

Entertainment
The entertainment here is brilliant! In P.E.I. there’s a popular show called
Anne of Green Gables. It has been translated to 15 different languages. L.M.
Montgomery wrote this novel. She made this book because of the spectacular land,
the fabulous ocean and the people in P.E.I.. The story is about a girl who was an
orphan in Nova Scotia that was sent to a town in P.E.I. to help in a farm. She was sent
by mistake, because they wanted a boy to help. After a few days, they decided to keep
her. The Titanic is a ship that was supposed to be unsinkable but sank at 11:40 p.m.
April 14, 1912 and it was made into a wonderful movie, but how come the Titanic is
connected to the Appalachians?? Well since Halifax was the closest city to the Titanic
when it sank, they were ordered by New York to rescue some of the people from the
Titanic. They rescued 327 people. That is why the titanic is connected to the
Appalachians. To find out more about the Titanic, you can visit the Maritime Museum
while you’re at the Appalachians. Do you like the entertainment here? You can see
Anne of Green Gables or learn about the Titanic at the Maritime Museum. So I think
Yes.
