OIr. ad·goin ‘to wound again‘‚ MW adwanaf ‘to strike again’; Gaul. PN Atuanos)
n[…]: ne | ateuane ‘do not strike again!’, or nu·te | ateuane ‘now, slay yourself!’ ?
(cp. nu gnate de dama gussou ‘now, son, don’t yield to violence’ (L-66, Plate of Lezoux)
