•
World Powers and Iran
met in Kazakhstan in an
attempt to negotiate a
peaceful settlement to
Iran’s nuclear program.
Iranian Delegation
•
However it is highly
unlikely any deals will be
reached in which Iran
agrees to stop its Uranium
enrichment and nuclear
program.
6
S2: Current Events
•
•
North Korea continues its
war like rhetoric and US
intelligence believes N.
Korea is going to test long
range missiles in the near
future.
Analysis: All of this crazy
talk is for the new leader to
show that he is in control
and honoring his father’s
and grandfather’s legacy,
especially with the 100th
birthday of Kim Il-Sung
coming up.
North Korean Troops during training
exercise
South Korean troops rehearse protecting
soft targets from possible N.K. special
forces
7
S2: Weather
•
Weekly forecast predicts
very warm weather with a
high of 84.
•
Key Weather: 50%
chance of T-Storms on

S2: Crime
•
Armed Bank robbery at Bank of America
•
Armed Robbery 300 block South Main street
Continue to use caution when living off campus as there
are crimes being committed in the area. Forgetting

S3: AAR Recon Lab
Issue: Visual Aid
Discussion: Lab participants felt that visual aids would have helped in their
planning process of the mission.
Recommendation: Bring a map or Google image of the training area for each
lane to use in their planning process.
Issue: Opords
Discussion: MSII’s want a more detailed opord to be briefed to them so that
they can practice flipping a STX opord.
Recommendation: The OIC for lab will create a detailed opord for each lane
instead of having the lane walkers make them up.
Issue: Distance of Lanes
Discussion: Lab Participants felt as if the lanes were too short and were to
close together.
Recommendation: Use full extent of training area provided to spread out
lanes
