Topics include: (1) functions, graphs, and limits, (2) derivatives, (3) integrals, and (4) polynomial approximations and series. The use of graphing technology is required. BC Calculus Outcomes Understand a derivative and use derivatives to solve problems. Understand a definite integral and use integrals to solve problems. Understand the relationship between derivatives and integrals. Communicate mathematics well and be able to explain solutions. Model physical situations mathematically.
