 What is this about? Culture Shift, Systemic
Collaboration
 Pilot Program aimed at servicing Interns and
Intervention (developing/ineffective) candidates
from schools /w baselines.
 Principals are involved in setting SLO’s, beginning
and end of year conferences, and will work in
conjunction with PAR consulting teachers to
evaluate.
AESOP (Substitute Management)

 Fundamental change: re-automating, no more turning





off the system at 6:30 a.m.
Remaining displaced teachers will be used as building
subs to avoid “in-house coverage” situations
Staff will always report their absence on AESOP and
AESOP will attempt to assign subs through 10 a.m.
LTSP’s will be prioritized to be offered “jobs” before
rolling to per diems.
Principals/teachers can identify “preferred” subs for
known vacancies ahead of time, must meet certification
requirements for job.
Absences/vacancies of a semester or more will be posted
as LTS positions.
