 Summarize the article using the smallest
number of sentences necessary.
 Include all the most important points.
 Make sure you use your own words: you
are not quoting in a summary.
 Make sure you keep your opinion out of
the summary. A summary is about what
the author wrote, not whether you agree
or disagree.
