EXISTING BENEFITS AND ISSUES
• Retired: pensioners will receive their pension, Cash Award in lieu
of Accumulated Leave (GCR) and Gratuity. (Financial / debt
management?).
• Pensioner Card: medical benefits, discount at selected merchant.
(It is listed?).
• Annual increment in pension : 2%. (Expected to increase?).
• Period for payment of pension to widower (marriage after
retirement) was extended from 12½ years to 20 years.
VALUE ADD TO PENSIONERS
• Meeting their expectation. (Personal well-being, health, reemployment and financial guidance).
• Increase their social values. (Recognition and inter-connectivity).
• Strengthening their capacity and capability. (Creating new
sources of income through Entrepreneurship, life-long learning,
