Main Landing screen of the Essjay Web Portal. The same can be accessed by
www.essjayericsson.com
First time users would need to register themselves for generating a
password to access the portal
For registration on the Essjay Web Portal, user would have to fill in the
following details:
1) Emp-ID
2) Date of Birth as per records
3) Essjayericsson e-mail ID ([email protected] )
Post validation of the user credentials, the system would automatically
dispatch a mail to the official email id of the user confirming the registration
with the password and the URL
In case an employee is unable to recall his / her Essjay Web Portal
Password, the same can be retrieved through the Forgot password utility on
the mail page of the portal
To retrieve the password, the user would have to enter the following
information
1) Emp-ID
2) Date of Birth
3) Email ID
Post validation of the user credentials, the system would automatically
dispatch a mail to the official email id of the user with the password and
other login details
Once the user has registered with portal, he / she can log into the portal by
entering the following login credential received in the auto email
1) User ID
2) Password
Once the users logs on the portal successfully, they would be able to view
the main navigation panel on the left consisting of all the links.
Option selected  HR Policies
This section would display the list of HR Policies of Essjay-Ericsson. The
policies are divided into major heads in the right panel, clicking on which
the user would navigate to the details of the corresponding policy.

This section would provide the employee with a online version of the salary
slip as per month and year selected
(The system holds salary slips since Feb-2011)

Using this section, the employee can raise an ESCF request to update his /
her employment attributes (Eg Change in location, department , cost center
etc.) . The ESCF thus raised would be subjected to a chain of approvals as
per policy to be effective

To raise an ESCF, the employee is required to fill his / her Employee ID
Option selected  Exit Checklist Request
Using this section, the employee can raise an Exit Checklist request to get
clearances from various stakeholders pertaining to his / her Exit from the
organization and process of F&F. The Exit Checklist thus raised would be
subjected to a chain of approvals as per policy to be effective

To raise a request for Exit Checklist online, the employee would have to
enter the following details:
1) Employee –ID
2) Date of Birth
Option selected  Query Management System
Using this section, the employee can raise a query / ticket for and issue
related to his / her employment.
The query raised would be assigned a ticket id and would be responded to
by the concerned stakeholder within standard SLA

For raising a new query, the user would be required to enter the Essjay
Web-portal login details

Using this section, the employee can modify his / her password for access
to Essjay Web-portal

The employee must enter the old password and the new password twice for
modification

This section would help the user to navigate the user to access the webmail
interface of his / her Essjay corporate email account

To obtain access to this section, the user must enter his / her essjay email id
([email protected]) and the password of the email account
Option selected  Balance Leaves
This section would help the user to keep track of his / her balance leave
quota as on date

The Leaves would be divided into
PL & CL
The leave quota would be updated every month.
Option selected  Employee Referral page
Through this section, the employees may refer their acquaintances for job
offers in the organisation

The employee needs to fill up the form and attach the Resume of the
candidate to apply
