Screen Customizations
• Determine Customizations
•

Or use SQL. Run the following against
the SL System DB:
(VBA)
select distinct entityid,
screenid, sequence from
customvba
(BSL)
select distinct entityid,
screenid, sequence from
custom2
SQL Customizations
• Find Custom SQL Triggers
select u.name, t.name from sysobjects t inner join sysobjects u on t.parent_obj=u.id where t.type='tr'
• Determine if necessary
• Verify “set nocount on”
•
Custom Apps & Reports
• Determine ISVs
– Many ISVs have already updated for 2015
– Others still in process
• Determine custom reports
– Anything in usr_rpts folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\SL\Applications\Usr_Rpts
Screen & Report Templates
• Templates
– Many will upgrade and work OK
– Some will not depending on report/screen changes
