• A remote node is a platform (Windows, Linux,
any system that supports SSH or WMI) that runs
jobs without an agent.
• Runs just like a regular Control-M agent with a
few exceptions
– No Filewatcher command
– No Control Module Support
• Perfect for “low-use” or “unsupported” platforms
• Behaves and “looks” the same to end-user
