La elección entre las 2 marcas ("0.5" y
"APEX") para la determinación de la
longitud de trabajo parece sobre todo
depender de la experiencia y la
preferencia del especialista.
En estudios microscópicos anteriores se ha informado que las
distancias entre la CA y foramen es de 0,5 mm.
Sin embargo, en este estudio, las distancias medidas entre "0.5" y APEX
fueron de solo 0,26 mm (Root ZX) y 0,29 mm i-Root) lo cual confirma que
los localizadores electrónicos no determinan exactamente .5mm antes
del foramen.

En conclusión:
1. La marca "APEX" de los Eals utilizados en este estudio indico el Foramen
constantemente.
2. La marca "0,5" por Root ZX es de 0,26mm antes del foramen y con el i-Root es
de 0,29 mm antes del foramen.
3. Las dos marcas (0.5 y APEX) de los 2 Eals se puede utilizar con fines clínicos.
